Ma CTRA ???

UKCT (UK Compu-Team) have collectively decided to close the CTRA for the forseeable future.
The Compu-Team Race Authority servers have been a great success, and we thank all those who participated. We've really appreciated all the kind words of encouragement and enthusiasm we've received over the life of the project.
We have to shut down as there are no options that will keep the system true to the ethos we set out to follow. The reason CTRA has created a clean driving environment is through the fair and transparent driver education. As soon as we remove that we've got any other LFS server (albeit with a flashy website and bit of insim code), which anyone else can do.
Although we have ideas and X2 was being developed, we've talked things over and UKCT have decided that we face too hostile an environment for us to continue at the present.
I have talked with a few people who contacted me with a view to taking over/assisting or even further developing the system, but no-one has offered anything concrete. We would much prefer to get out of the saddle now, with the integrity of the system intact.
Again, on behalf of UKCT, we thank you all for your kind words, for the end-of-year awards successes, and we hope that the future holds bright things for all of us.
Chris.
